Works well with my older FT classic ski boots. Initially I had an issue with removing the tool from the boot after tightening the latch. I easily solved this by filing a slight chamfer on the upper inside edge of the larger opening (both sides) . Now, with just an easy rotation of the tool it unhooks from the closed latch. I can now tighten my boots the way I like without aggravating an old arm injury. I was leery of the plastic design, but it is plenty strong!

I’m a 74 year old skier with old shoulders, but my wife (71) and I still ski the black diamond runs. Great product!! I’m a seasoned skier with 2 total hips that make buckling the instep and lower cuff buckles difficult. This has solved any difficulty. I previously bought the more inexpensive brightly colored ( orange or blue tools) which didn’t have lever power. Buy this you won’t regret regret!!
