I ordered three different cheaper ski helmets on amazon, and they either were really uncomfortable, broke before I could wear them, or fit terribly. In my frustration, I finally decided to spend a bit more $$ and get a higher end helmet. I have Giro ski goggles already that were really comfortable, so decided to get a helmet also. I have no regrets. I tried it out for the first time yesterday! It was 10 degrees F and this kept my head toasty warm the entire day on the slopes! I fell only once, but in that tumble, I hit the back of my head. It didn’t hurt for a second! This helmet totally protected me!! I know for a fact, had I not been wearing it, I’d have a nasty bump on the back of my head! It’s SUPER comfortable to wear – even with 13 ear piercings! I’ve no regrets for a single second, only that I didn’t purchase this one in the first place!
