- CONSTRUCTION – MIPS Spherical- Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. D2 Construction pairs two densities of Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) foam to manage both high- and low-energy impacts
- FIT SYSTEM – Stash Fit System allows for the advanced customization of your helmet with three possible padding configurations. The system includes a built-in liner pocket and two densities of earpads. Run it without pads, with medium pads, or with a thicker pad depending on your preference.
- VENTILATION – Our Stack Vent was developed based on research showing the majority of warm air that can cause fogging comes from the goggle’s center top vent. Aligning the Stack Vent in the helmet with the center vent of the goggle helps keep it clear and fog-free.
- SEAMLESS COMPATIBILITY WITH ALL GIRO GOGGLES – For optimal performance of both helmets and goggles, Giro products are designed to work together, ensuring a seamless interface between helmet and goggle for an exceptional fit and dependable, worry-free function.

The colors are a little feminine but my 8 year old son likes it. olive w aqua straps.He and I both have big heads, which people find hard to believe because we both have very short faces. I took him to his lessons last year and noticed his helmet was getting a little small. Here we are in August preparing for the next season and, indeed, he is ready for a new one. We went straight from youth medium last two seasons to womens small and the fit is perfect! His colors this season will be completely hodgepodge but he will love it. And MIPS at a good price for the win!!! Kiddo is proud to be in an adult size anything (he is 51 lbs) and mom loves that he is well protected.
