My husband used these for our son’s pinewood derby car, and they were perfect for fine-tuning the final weight. Just a quick heads-up—they’re measured in grams, not ounces, so be sure to double-check your conversions. These were ideal for small, precise adjustments, and when we weighed them, each piece was exactly as stated. They’re lead-free, which we really appreciated, and they bend easily without snapping. The adhesive backing made it simple to attach to the bottom of the car. When we needed to shave off just 0.05 ounces, he was able to pry one up and trim it with wire cutters—no problem. The packaging was surprisingly high-end for something like this, and while we’re not sure what the lens cloth is for, it was a nice touch!

This comes in a nice tin, with a microfiber cloth and is presented well. The weights themselves are nice looking, depending on your paddle color, and weigh in at the exact weight as listed.I have no issues with the adhesive, and expect it to stay on without issue as it looks like they are using genuine 3m.I have this placed at 4/8 o’clock positions, and plan on playing a few weeks then removing and trying a different spot.Overall, I think this is a good value and choice to avoid lead tape, and it priced competitive for tungsten.

comes well packaged in a metal gift box but probably more extravagant than it has to be. Lead tape is easy to apply, I use it on my tennis rackets at the 3, 9, and 12 o’clock positions to improve serving power & stability during volley. I wish it has markings so you can trim the tape into thirds for more fine tuning. Very supple to adapt to the curvature of the frame. I was considering investing in new, heavier racquets as my skill improved. This tape added more weight to my beginner racquets to improve consistency, accuracy, and stability in all strokes. I think it will extend the use of my current racquets for a few more years.

I’ve been adding lead tape to golf clubs and pickleball paddles for years and I always wash my hands after applying the lead tape. Most lead tape sold today had a protective layer to prevent contact once it’s applied, but I recently pulled my pickleball paddle out of my bag and saw that the black protective layer had peeled off, exposing the lead. Normally I have about an 5″ x 1/4″ wide strip of lead on both side edges of my paddle, but just one Taank weight on each edge gives the paddle a bit more heft and helps make serves and drives more powerful. The added weight also helps reduce paddle twisting when blocking drives. I put the first weight on a little off center, but I was able to remove it, reposition it and the adhesive worked well. The packaging is pretty impressive too. 🙂

This lead-free tape is a great alternative to traditional long-adhesive strips for customizing pickleball paddles. It’s easier to handle and apply, and doesn’t leave sticky residue when removed. The weight distribution feels more balanced and controlled. A solid upgrade if you’re looking for something cleaner and more precise.

This product is very easy to work with. The container is sturdy and has good closure, and the packaging is also very nice. Each strip is lightweight so this is probably better for racket sports than it is for golf. The adhesive is great, so I can definitely use it for my putter without worrying about it falling off. I can’t feel a significant weight difference after I applied it, though, but I will find other uses for this and I do really like that it’s lead-free.
