With four kids this met our needs quite nicely. The sleds are a decently thick material but I would still expect them to break if you took them off a jump, which you might not want to do because with a saucer you don’t have much control. If you are in need of multiple sleds this is a very good option.

These are not large so children will fit on these better than adults – but that being said, I couldn’t resist giving one a try. My 8-year old granddaughter and I decided to take a few runs on a day that was very cold and the snow was not super powdery or deep. These things are FAST! There was a patch of my yard on which the snow had already melted, but this saucer didn’t care! I flew down the hill over the snow and continued right over the grass. It was a blast and my granddaughter really enjoyed my yelps as I barreled backwards down the hill.
