I was starting to wonder if my kids (9 & 12) were outgrowing their plastic sleds when I stumbled on these snow tubes, so I thought why not? This 3 pack comes stuffed into their very gift-able box, along with instructions for the 3-valve system (new style for me personally, so that is a bonus), the usual warnings, and 6 repair patches (awesome!).The colors are vibrant and fun with kind of a 90s vibe, although somewhat leaning more girly. I did sort of think they were going to be bigger, but maybe they are the same size as when I was growing up & smaller, lol. The quality seems good – handles solidly attached, good valve system, seams on all 3 fully closed, and thick material to cater to many, many uses.So far, we’ve only had one snow good enough for my kids to try them out, but they had a blast. They seem to glide a bit faster over the snow than their plastic sleds, but not by much. Lasted through our initial tests of plopping themselves on them full force numerous times (we haven’t tested out with anyone close to the recommended weight limit yet).The only issue we had was actually inflating them. Our hand and car DC-powered pumps didn’t have any attachments that would work with the valve system. Brought out our air compressor, and despite having close to 30 attachments (my dad was a machine repair man), we still struggled to find a really efficient way to get them inflated. My blow dryer is not like the one pictured on the instructions, so we couldn’t try that option. We still have 1 left to inflate, so we will try again and I can update with any tips, if we figure out any.At $39.99 regular price, when I ordered them, they might be priced a little high, although I’ve seen other 3 packs more expensive but not by much. These will hopefully bring my kids many seasons of snow-filled fun – would recommend!
