Post that is made out of metal that will never break like hte factory plastic ones do. I bought an aftermarket plastic one from the dealer and it broke the first time I actuated the choke so I found this one on amazon. Have to update my review after using this metal one for a season but I see no reason why I would have any problems with it.

Great aluminum lever that won’t break.My plastic one broke so I replaced it with another plastic one that broke on install. I then bought this one and I’ll never have the issue again. Great product.

Expensive but worth it! Nice that EVERYTHING is metal. Was also nice the pin has been replaced with a cap screw, washers & ny-loc nut. No pounding or pressing the pin in. Found I needed to attach “lever” AFTER the “box” was re-attached to dash. I couldn’t get threaded ring over cap screw assembly. Oops.Should never have to replace this again.Arrived quickly.
