Light weight and sturdy, but your foot seems to turn in the set up, not sure if my feet are to small? Anyhow still a great product no issued at all, I’m a beginner at snow shoes.

I have wanted a pair of snow shoes for a number of years now but never got around to getting them. So when I had the opportunity to check these out, I jumped on it. I will be the first to admit I’m not a snowshoe aficionado, as this is my first pair, so I can only go on my personal experience with them and my knowledge of materials and construction and what to look for in a well-made product. This seems like a useful starter package for someone like myself. The aluminum frames are sturdy and well balanced. I know nothing of the strength and longevity of the material they use that it stretched in the frame…this is something I need to research if I really decide to get into snowshoeing seriously. The top bindings are a good, heavy duty nylon strapping. One of my biggest concerns for the longevity of these snowshoes is the binding that goes around the heel. It’s a really lightweight vinyl type material that I’m not sure I would trust to last more than a season or so. At this price point I would have expected better. See photos.I particularly like the way they set up the straps to put the snowshoes on. Both the top straps and the release have a loop that you can pull easily with gloves or mittens on to tighten or loosen the straps. I think the way it is done is pretty genius actually though once we get snow and I have to get them on and off in real life, that could change! The poles are decent and solid and marked in inches and centimeters so that once you know the right setting for you, you can quickly lock them in without having to adjust them. I appreciate the bag that they come in which will make storage easy and tidy. All in all, I definitely am looking forward to playing with these this winter and seeing if snowshoeing is something I want to pursue more. Having researched a few other options though I would say that if you are a serious snowshoer, I’d look elsewhere for a pair with stronger bindings. For *me*, these will do for my “learning curve”.I’ll update once I’ve put these to work this winter! Happy Shopping!

I researched snowshoes, and these were the most aesthetically pleasing – so cute! Has the toe kick which I was looking for also!
