   I’ve had this net for 3 years now! I bought it during my second year of college as I played a bit with friends and would play a bit when home for the summers. The heavy duty metal frame is the truth! Plus, there’s no need to restring as it simply folds out and allows a bit tightening or loosening. I will say, after having it thrown around, dropped, and literally treated like a trampoline from kids it has a little of a tilt. But with that being said, a little of a tilt is amazing considering all it’s been through. I recommend this product for anyone looking for a long lasting, easy, and affordable spikeball set!

   I’ve researched which “Spike Ball” type of game to get and compared all the reviews and prices before I got the JogenMax and I’m happy to say I made the right choice. It’s mid cost between the cheaper ones (30$) And the 100$+ SpikeBall brand ones. But seriously it’s great! Well made, very sturdy, out of the “bag”, in this case, ready for play. Super easy to unfold, pumped the little balls in a few seconds (they are not deformed or badly shaped in any way). My 12 year old is the one who opened and got it ready on his own. We’ve been playing it nonstop since we got it. We haven’t tried it outdoors yet but I don’t see why we should have any issues with it. I am really happy with this purchase and it’s a fun game for siblings and friends alike to play!

   Very difficult to assemble. You need a very strong person to force to extend it. Very dangerous to extend. It snaps back, so he careful not to hit your face. One of the corner is slightly bent. I don’t think we are doing to refold it, since it was so difficult to open back up. Other than that, it’s a fun game.

   My son’s and their friends, ages 9-17, have spend HOURS playing this! Often hours at a time. They will pack it up and take it to the park and friends’ and easily store it in the case. 100% worth the money. As someone who obsesses over reviews, if you’re looking for spikeball or a fun outdoor activity, GET THIS ONE.

   The quality of the product is high. The design is high and the components are generally high. The balls are not able to be fully inflated with the pump supplied. Eventually gave up with the hand pump and went to a gas station and got the balls fully inflated.Components are built for heavy usage and are easy to set up.One very minor issue. There are stability pins that lock the ‘base’ in position for play. However, it seems that they drilled the holes for the pins. The paint job is high quality. They either spray or immersion painted the part, and it’s a quality paint job. However, they did not take into consideration that the paint was applied to the inside of the holes. It’s a fairly thick coating, and their process added a bit too much paint to the inside of the hole. Had to use a drill to get the hole ‘cleaned out’ to the size to where it probably was when originally machined. In addition, the hand pump for the balls is not capable of inflating the balls to final shape. Had to go to a local gas station to get the balls fully inflated.It’s an A1, really quality unit. We are a bunch of ‘old guys’. We are really enjoying learning the game.

   I own a mobile game service that does THOUSANDS of corporate picnics and team building events each year. All of our crews carry Spikeball as one of the popular lawn games available for the events, but everyone hates assembling the rickety plastic Spikeball frames and trying to attach the nets and tension them properly. Its a task that typically takes 15 minutes (or more) to get right. To make matters worse, the latest batch of Spikeball equipment we receivedis garbage. It seemed to have even worse-fitting plastic components and a smaller net will barely stretch to fit the frame. Workers are almost ready to mutiny rather than assemble the new Spikeball.As I was browsing Amazon last week, I stumbled onto the Jogenmax product and happened to stop long enough to see that it looked like a pre-strung Spikeball system. Great! In addition, it said that it folded, so that I didn’t have to give up the compact storage size of the original Spikeball. This, I had to see! So I ordered a single unit instantly and waited for it to arrive. A day later, its on my doorstep and I couldn’t wait to check it out. IT WAS EVERYTHING THEY ADVERTIZED! The net is pre-attached and the circular frame folds open in 10 seconds and locks in place I thought that with a folding frame, the net wouldn’t be tensioned right, but it was perfect, tight and had no dead spots around the rim,like Spikeball nets typically do.The Jogenmax set even comes complete with a small plastic pump for the balls and the ball needle stores conveniently in the handle so that it doesn’t break while in storage. And the included canvas storage bag is also much nicer and stronger than the Spikeball bag. Perfect! The only complaint that I have is about the Jogenmax set the ball quality…. its pretty bad. The balls are shipped deflated and upon inflating, the balls are badly out of round and have an obvious ridge sticking out. I though that if I left them overnight, this ridge might stretch out, but it didn’t.One of my balls also had several pin-hole leaks on the seam right out of the box and won’t hold air. Unlike the original smooth yellow Spikeballs, these balls also seem a bit heavier and have volleyball-style panels molded into them.For now, I think I’ll be using the original yellow Spikeballs with the Jogenmax frame, but hopefully, they’ll get this small detail ironed out too! I was tempted to hold back a star in the rating due to the poor ball quality and defect in one of the balls, but the frame frame is so outstanding that I put the star back. I’ll order several more for my crews!
