While my kids have been playing with this tetherball set, I personally feel like this may be more of a “kids” set. The setup was fairly easy, just matching poles and clicking them together. The foot anchor bar was very helpful in driving the pole into the ground. Once assembled, you can see it does have a tilt to it. Some padding between metal piece or a more secure way of attaching could solve this problem. The 360 swivel hook is great for teaching kids how to play or for solo play. I can’t comment on durability yet as we haven’t had it long enough, but I am concerned with the pole failing in any kind of substantial weather. I did really like that it came with tennis balls to swap out. This helps kids play longer in my opinion. All in all, not a bad beginner set or 10 years and under set due to size.

Excellent fun! This is our second tetherball unit, as the ball on our last one got destroyed from all the use. The extra included tetherballs of this set made me feel more comfortable with investing in another set, and so far I have no complaints! The pole seems sturdier than the other one we had too, so I have high hopes that this one will last my family much longer!

I’m always looking for ways to get the kids outside and away from devices. This set includes a pole, two rackets, an air pump (for the tetherball), a tetherball, and three tennis balls on a string. It was quick and easy to set up. The pole pushes into the ground. The tennis ball or tetherball is hung from the top of the pole and swings around the pole as it is hit. This was a great way for us to spend time as a family.

I love tennis and my kids love tetherball, so this is absolutely perfect right out of the gate.We had a “portable” tetherball game set up in the yard, but my kids really struggled with the weight and density of the ball. Not only would it hurt their hands a bit, but the weight of the ball made things like accidental facial contact a genuine concern for things like busted lips or broken glasses.With this novel iteration on the classic, however, you have a “best of both worlds” approach. First off, you’re able to set it up with a lightweight pressureless tennis ball instead of a firmly inflated rubber ball.Second, using te included racquets give you a little extra space to play away from your face, so you’re less likely to make incidental contact.Best of all, it helps build hand-eye coordination for other racquet sports like pickleball and ping pong. It won’t help you with your tennis technique, of course, but it is a lot of fun!

Finally some great for grandchildren and grandparents. Easy to set up, base piece that “sets” in the ground securely thanks to the “foot” presses to push into the ground, base piece shaped to “pierce” the ground. This set is actually two sets in one – a typical large tetherball and also a tennis balls. Each lends itself to different “games”. The price was super competitive – I would say “cheap” but nothing about the quality is cheap – this is all solid construction meant to last for years. Set it up when the grandkids are over to keep them happily engaged, set it up for the grandparents (us) to keep our muscles and joints exercised. The only draw backs – the tether ball is far too heavy and no “pin” was included to inflate – a three cent item for the manufacturer but a few dollars for the consumer (you can’t buy just one). The tennis ball game requires some supervision – the “firm” balls can do damage to players when hit hard. But I would buy for a gift to give since ours is so good.

This tetherball set is a quick backyard win! ? Easy setup, even for the less handy among us. ? The T-design and included rope give you flexibility. Just be prepared to trim that tether for shorter poles – a minor snip for major fun. ✂️ The 360° swivel hook is a nice touch, though don’t expect tournament-grade play. It’s perfect for casual fun at the park, beach, or your own backyard. Could be more solid, seems sorta flimsy. Stands about 5 feet tall. Good variety of games.
